Lillehammer Church
Lillehammer Church was built in 1882, and was restored to its present form in 1958–59. It got a new Rieger–organ in 2001. The church seats 500 people and is much used for all kinds of concerts. MS0703
Statue of Sigrid Undset
Sigrid Undset`s home was in Kristiania and Lillehammer. Sigrid Undset (1882–1949) was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1928 for her historical novels about Kristin Lavransdatter, 'Kransen', 'Husfrue', and 'Korset'. She was granted the Stortingets (Norwegian Parliament`s) "diktergasje" (poets salary) in 1922. MS0703
Maihaugen, Garmo Church
The open–air museum tells about 500 years of life and work. Houses, their furnishings and the landscape form a framework which makes a visit to Maihaugen into a journey back in time. MS0703
Maihaugen, farmyard with hay-racks
At the area called "Bygda" on Maihaugen, Gudbrandsdal may be seen as a whole. Here we find big farm houses, cottar's huts, stave churches and parson–ages, pioneer farms, groups of "sæter huts" (from summer dairy farms) and fishermen's huts. MS0703
