The ferryman
This is Jon Wanvik the ferryman who runs Sundet Farm together with his wife Karon. After it became possible to lodge at Sundet Farm, it was natural to offer a ferry crossing as in the old days. EP0705

Saint Olav is garlanded at Olsok
The St Olav Festival begins with Olavsvaka, the vigil (watch–night) till early morning in the cathedral with hourly office prayers. This is one of the absolute high points for the pilgrims arriving at Nidaros. In the Middle Ages it was usual to begin the great festivals with such a vigil. The great festival in Trondheim was 29th July. St. Olav`s day or "Olsok". Thus "Olavsvaka" – the watchnight before 29th July was important. See The Pilgrim's Key to Trondheim (See the menu "Saint Olav" for information about the Olsok celebrations). EP0705
